COERR Bangkok staff paid a visit on November 22, 2012 to see the construction of the mini-fire station in Ban Mae Surin camp in Khun Yuam District, Mae Hong Son Province. Most mini-fire stations are built exactly according to the plan i.e. built above the ground to prevent the equipment inside the station to get damaged by the rainwater. Equipments such as fire extinguishers and water containers need to be checked and refilled regularly to ensure efficient use.
